Privacy Policy

The game starts you as a guest; no name, email or phone is required. If you link Apple or Google, we store the provider user ID and (if you choose to share it) your email. Apple "Hide My Email" is supported.

We do not collect: precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or health data. On-device AI features run entirely on your phone; that text is not sent to us.

The sign-up form asks you to confirm you are 16 or older, and we do not store the answer. If you join the waitlist on this website, you consent to us storing the following data, and nothing else:

• your email address
• the platform you chose
• your device
• the side you chose (vampire or werewolf)
• the source of your sign-up
• your language preference
• your time zone
• the time you gave your consent
• the version of the consent text you agreed to

We use it to keep your place on the waitlist and to email you about it. The data is deleted 6 months after the game launches.

Two service providers process this data on our behalf: Resend sends our emails, and Cloudflare hosts this website, stores the waitlist and runs the Turnstile bot check on the sign-up form.

To stop abuse of the sign-up form we also keep a keyed hash of your IP address and of your email address for the current rate-limit window. We do not store the IP address itself, and each hash is deleted when its window ends.

You stay in control. Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link and a "delete my data" link. You can also write to support@widgetfangs.com at any time. The waitlist uses no tracking cookies.

The game only shows rewarded ads you choose to watch. On iOS the advertising ID is used only if you allow App Tracking Transparency; in the EEA/UK Google's consent form (UMP) is shown. Without consent you get non-personalized ads. We do not sell your data.

A single strictly necessary cookie is used for your language preference. When you pick a language in the language menu, the cookie wf_lang stores that choice (for example "tr") for one year, so the home page opens in your language. It holds no identifier and is not used for tracking or analytics. You can delete it in your browser settings at any time. Without it, the home page reads your browser's language setting to choose a language; that setting is not stored or logged.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, does not fingerprint and does not identify you; it only shows totals such as page views, countries and referring sites.

If you join the waitlist, your time zone is stored so we can send your invite on your own night.

Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, game data is permanently deleted within 30 days; purchase records required by law are kept for the legally required period. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Waitlist data is kept as described in section 3.

Under GDPR and Turkish KVKK you can access, correct, delete, object to and port your data. Delete your account in the game (how?) or email support@widgetfangs.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

The game is for ages 13 and up, while the website waitlist is for ages 16 and up, the age of consent for email sign-ups in the EU. Widget Fangs is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Contact us and we will delete it.

Our game servers are in Google Cloud's European region (eur3). Providers may process data in other countries including the US, protected by standard contractual clauses. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest; only our server can change game economy data.

If we update this policy we change the date and announce significant changes in the game.
